Squashbuckle Gardens is the home of Creators Sarah and Jason Neu and their three tiny dogs. The space includes an enchanting organic trellis gardens, comfortable guest quarters, and various social spaces.
The Neus develop projects, separately and together, by holding their center and following their hearts and cues from life itself.

Sarah writes poetry and songs, and is currently working on a memoir and/or one-woman show about her journey through Gardening, Mindfulness, and Creativity.

She is also an active singer and dulcimer player, a burgeoning sculptor, and a once and future theatrical designer and director.
Her proudest creative achievement thus far has been to found and direct Roslyn Stone, a very special women's a cappella ensemble that featured an eclectic blend of music and amazing voices. She is currently working on a plan to evolve Roslyn Stone into an open network and community of singing women.
Sarah is the main designer and gardener for the flowers, veggies, and herbs that grow in our trellises and the creator of our tomato mandalas and other plant-centered art.
Jason is a fellow multitalented person, and his focuses include guitar playing and improvisation, drumming, sketching, painting, wire and wood work, coding, and studying the mysteries of the stock market. He is our primary edge-gardener (casual landscaping) and chief photographer of the garden, tomato mandalas, and off-campus adventures.
Together we share a common interest and practice of simple mindfulness which serves both our spirits and our mental health, and we share a sense that life should be a slow, lovely adventure.
